It's Friday!

I have different feelings associated with Friday. I am very excited for the weekend, especially for the trip to Newport, the arrival of the rest of my cohort, and an opportunity to sleep in after a long time. However, I am also sad that a week has flied by so quickly.

Friday proceeded as a normal weekday. In class, I performed a new experiment that combined the work that was done on Wednesday and Thursday. I did the complete process of gel electrophoresis. Performing the lab was very fun and I improved on the mistakes I had made in the last two days. I was pleased with my experiment result as it was very similar to the ideal gel result.

After class, I decided to go to the famous Antonio's for a slice of pizza. The pizza was fulfilling and delicious. Then I went to the Rock to study and start my homework.

At 2:00 PM, I went to the Test Taking Tips and Tricks workshop with my friend Jackie. The workshop was almost a review of things that I already knew about, however it was nice to brush up on test taking strategies I had forgotten about.

The rest of my day was work-oriented until evening.

Since the V-Dub (my building's dining hall) was closed for today and tomorrow, Jackie, two of her classmates, and I decided to go to Antonio's for dinner at my recommendation.. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. 

Since today was movie night, Andrea, Jackie, and I decided to go.. The movie that was played is Jupiter Ascending. The craziest thing happened when I remembered, in the middle of the movie, that two short homework assignments were due tonight at 10:00. Since it was 9:00 PM, I, with the company of Andrea, rushed back to my dorm to finish those assignments. After submitting the online homework, we returned for the movie. After a rollercoaster evening, we returned to our dorms and chatting until past midnight. Bonding with the girls was an experience on its own.
