Here We Go!

Beep beep beep... The sound of my alarm jolted me awake. I rolled over and stared at my ceiling. I thought to myself, "It's really happening. I'm going to Rhode Island to attend Brown university!" With that I got up, packed the last few things I needed and went about my day.

My sister and mom took me out for some delicious ice cream at the mall. We walked around and then headed back home to relish our last ours together before I departed.

As I sat on my couch I began to think and decided to double check if I had everything I needed in my luggage. After a few minutes of this, my friend Lizbeth, came to pick me up to go to dinner. We dined and had a great time. 

On the drive back, I thought of all the hard work everyone involved in ILC has to do for all this to happen. I am truly grateful to have this life changing opportunity. 

Hold on to your hat Brown University, because I'll blow you away!
